CHANGE MANAGEMENT FOUNDATION (APMG)
The Change Management Foundation training provides participants with a basic and solid understanding in the principles of Change Management. The Change Management foundation course is aimed to get the understanding why change happens, how change happens and what needs to be done to make change a more welcoming concept. In particular, such a course should be delivered in in organizations looking for insights into different frameworks and ways of approaching change at an individual, team and organizational level.

An interactive approach is used combining lecture, discussion and case study experience to prepare participants for the Change Management Foundation certification exam as well as providing valuable practical knowledge that can be rapidly applied in the workplace. Mock examinations are provided and used as a preparation to the final test.

STUDENT MATERIAL
Students will receive a Change Management Foundation classroom workbook containing all of the presentation materials, course notes, case study and sample exams.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT FOUNDATION CERTIFICATION
After successful completion of the exam, students will receive the APMG Change Management Foundation certificate. The purpose of the Foundation certification is to confirm that a candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of Change Management to work as an informal member of a team working on an organizational change initiative. The Foundation certification is also a pre-requisite for the Practitioner certification.
The Change Management Practitioner course provides participants with a thorough understanding in the Principles of Change Management. The Change Management practitioner course is aimed to get a deep understanding of why change happens, how change happens and what needs to be done to make change a more welcoming and achievable concept. In particular such course should be delivered in in organizations looking for real application of the different frameworks and of the ways of approaching change at an individual, team and organizational level
WHY TAKE THIS CHANGE MANAGEMENT PRACTITIONER TRAINING?
This course is delivered using a case study and an exercise kit designed to further enhance and cement the candidates understanding of the subject. Students who have attended this course are suitably prepared to successfully take the associated Change Management Practitioner certification exam.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
A successful Practitioner candidate should, with suitable direction, be able to start applying the Change Management approaches and techniques to a real change initiative – but may not be sufficiently skilled to do this appropriately for all situations. Their individual Change Management expertise, complexity of the change initiative and the support provided for the use of Change Management approaches in their work environment will all be factors that impact what the Practitioner can achieve. Successful candidates will have fulfilled the knowledge requirements for Change Management Institute accreditation. At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Appreciate different approaches to change management and their implications for supporting individuals through change and understand why people react as they do and how delegates can help individuals through the change process
- Appreciate why teams are important in change, understand what factors contribute to team success and understand how teams change and develop and so help delegates to deliver improvements in team performance
- Identify key metaphors describing how organizations change and how these can help delegates plan appropriate action during change
- Formulate an integrated model of the change management process and how this can help delegates to introduce successful change within an organization
- Know what key areas need to be considered are when planning organizational change and understand the difference between management and leadership
- Identify different leadership styles and their effects on the change process
- Begin to develop a healthy response to the demands of change management leadership
PREREQUISITES
Change Management Foundation certificate. Delegates will be expected to have completed the assigned pre-course study material prior to attending this course. Such material will be sent to delegates approximately two weeks before the start of your course.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION
After successful completion of the exam, students will receive the APMG Change Management Practitioner certificate. The purpose of the Practitioner certification is to confirm whether the candidate has achieved sufficient know-how to apply and tailor Change Management guidance in a given organizational change situation.
